What is 'TIGER'?
The Tiger Informatics through Geospatial and
Ecological Research (TIGER) is a unique project developed by Aaranyak
for long term monitoring of tigers (using photo trapping) in the
Northeast India.
Objectives
1. Develop individual profile of individual
tigers over time and space using geospatial and ecological information.
2. Assist the managers and other stakeholders
with updated information on tigers of the region.
3. Create awareness among the mass using this
as visual media.
Profile of the Tigers
Site specific pictorial profile of individual
tigers will be available for all individuals in due course.
Currently we
are developing this site and shall provide information on all the tigers
we know step by step.
